This the Boa. A entirely spring loaded airsoft bounding mine that requires no external power source. No gas, batteries or pyro needed, just use the pellets you've got with you!
Designed with the experience from my Boomslang airsoft land mine as well as my Krait spring loaded airsoft trip mine. Once triggered by its tripwire, the Boa leaps up into the air and fires pellets in all directions, a 360 degree killzone that extends several metres. A real squad wiper.
Optimised for easy assembly, tuning and rapid deployment. The Boa airsoft bouncing betty can be planted and armed in a very short timeframe. With a tool-less reset protocol too.
Being spring-loaded, the Boa won't be affected by summer pyro bans, the freezing cold or damp. It will sit dormant, coiled and awaiting its prey.
This airsoft mine can be hidden out of sight in vegetation or even behind barricades. And it will jump up and scare the crap out of anyone who dares to disturb it.
Whilst being slightly larger than my other airsoft land mines, the Boa is designed to be as compact as possible. And when stowed away it is completely self contained.
The tripwire of the Boa is a breakaway tripwire, like all of my other tripmines. Upon pulling the tripwire, it detaches from the mine. Reducing the risk of trip hazards or damage to the mechanism on the mine.
The Boa is a bit more complicated than my other mines, as is the nature of bouncing betties. But it is still very easy to assemble and use.
This item is 3D-printed and may have some printing artefacts left from the printing process, these will not affect functionality.
