Airsoft Bouncing Betty Bounding Trip Mine "Boomslang"
The Boomslang is an airsoft bounding land mine. More colloquially known as the Bouncing Betty. Once triggered, this airsoft landmine jumps to waist height before "detonating", allowing it to jump out of foliage or out from behind cover!
It shares the same carriage system as my other cap firing airsoft designs for easy reloading. The Boomslang uses a spring loaded launcher to launch the Main Charge upwards which fires when it runs out of tether, firing a whole 8 shot cap gun ring for a loud yet safe bang. And like my other cap firing designs the whole ring firing is A LOT louder than you think!
Whilst being understandably larger than my Sidewinder and Adder airsoft cap gun mines, the Boomslang is still compact to stow away. With the tripwire Spool sliding over the Ground Spike for protection, the Boomslang can be rapidly deployed onto the airsoft battlefield.
